BRENDON FERNANDEZ
Brendon is happy to be working with Toy Factory again. His last play with them was “Bent” in 2003, which went on to win “Play of the Year” at the Life! Theatre Awards.
His other stage credits include “Own Time Own Target” (2009), “Much Ado About Nothing” (2009), “The Importance of Being Earnest” (2009), “The King Lear Project: A Trilogy” (2008, Kunsten Festival des Arts, Brussels and Singapore Arts Festival), “Boeing Boeing” (2005), “Everything But the Brain” (2005), “Comrade Mayor” (2002), “Shakespeare’s R&J” (2001), “Rent” (2001) and “The Theory of Everything” (2000, in both Singapore and L.A.).
When he’s not acting, Brendon is an Academic Associate at Republic Polytechnic’s Centre for Culture and Communications. When he’s not doing that either, Brendon cooks, watches documentaries obsessively, and plays “World of Warcraft”.

Tan Shou Chen is a versatile artiste with credits that span music, theatre, film, TV, and radio. Picked by The Straits Times in 2008 as one of S’pore’s 30 under 30 theatre talents to look out for, Shou Chen has tackled leading and supporting roles in productions such as Eugene Ionesco's Rhinoceros (2008), Moliére's The Hypochondriac (2008), and Caryl Churchill’s Mad Forest (2007) Other notable credits include: The Necessary Stage's Off Centre (2007), The Broadway Christmas Carol (2005) with The Arts House, W!LD RICE's Landmarks: Asian Boys Vol 2 (2004). He was last seen playing the frog prince in I-Theatre's exuberant production of Duck and Dive (2009) and in STAGES' Chestnuts (2009). He was a pioneer member of the award winning training ensemble W!LD Rice Young and W!LD, and now a proud founding member of COLLAB Theatre Ensemble. He thanks God, M, and his fam.

Jae discovered his passion for entertainment at the age of 17, when he won Warner Music’s Super Idol Competition in Singapore in year 2002 and represented Singapore in Taiwan, competing with other contenders all over Asia, finishing Top 13. Since then, Jae has actively been seeking training grounds to improve his vocals performing skills such as volunteering himself to be one of the Street Performing Artiste (Singapore) in the Singapore Street Festival for 3 consecutive years (2007-2009).

In 2007, Jae started gaining recognition in the local entertainment industry when he entered Singapore’s first Song Writing competition on national television ‘S-Pop Hurray!’ and became the Top 12 Finalist with his catchy and unique composition “蚊子咬咬” (Mosquito Bite).

Jae got his break on television in 2007, guest appearing on MediaCorp Channel 8 Drama ‘Rhythm Of Life’ 《变奏曲》. After his first foray into acting, he was cast to act in various TV dramas on MediaCorp’s Channel 8 and Channel 5, and quickly became a regular face in many short films, projects by up and coming directors such as Li Fei Hui, Alvin Soe and Tzang Merwyn Tong. His most recent accomplishment is being selected to play the lead role for award-winning director Royston Tan’s new short film.

FAUZIE LAILY


Fauzie Laily is a versatile and promising actor as well as host. He was the 2nd runner up on Anugerah 2005 and was immediately signed up by Mediacorp's Artiste Management Unit (AMU) and his journey in the entertainment scene took off from there. He was also the Winner of Best Newcomer in Acting Category in Pesta Perdana 2007, a bi-annual award ceremony honouring the best in the Malay television industry in Singapore.

He also starred in other dramas notably Rahsia Perkahwinan 2, where he worked under the direction of Mr. U-Wei Hj Shaari, a well known director from Malaysia. Fauzie Laily got into the world of hosting when he was given the chance to host Anugerah 2007 and recently in 2009. Aside from that, he was given a chance to host Pesta Pesta Pesta 2008, a Malay music award and Sinar Lebaran 2008.

His two singles, "Selalu" and “Izinkan” was in Ria 897FM chart for a several weeks in 2006 and 2008 respectively. He made the music video for “Izinkan” with Universal Music Malaysia and the song "Selalu" was featured in the compilation album under KRU Records called "Ini Baru Power 2". During 2009 National day, he had a showcase at the Esplanade called Local Motion with Fauzi Laily accompanied by some of Singapore's well known musicians like Riduan Zalani (Wicked Aura Batucada) and Izrin. He recently gave an outstanding performance in the 2009 Ramadan drama, Di Piringgin Ramadan.

Singapore based actor and producer Claude Girardi has worked as a theatre industry professional in both Singapore and Australia for the past six years. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce at Murdoch University in Australia and a Diploma in Performing Arts at LaSalle College of the Arts in Singapore.
Claude’s Singapore theatre credits include, Puccini’s Turandot (Singapore Lyric Opera), A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream and Agamemnon (SRT), Mozart: A Life a Legend (OperAsia), Real Men / Fake Orgasms by Chong Tzer Chien, Manhood by Desmond Sim and Vampire Monologues (ACTION Theatre) The Visitor and Esla and Frinz Go Partying (Short and Sweet Festival 2008), the role of Ralph in Lord of the Flies, Boo Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird and Tarek Fahd in Das Experiment: Black Box by Blank Space Productions in collaboration with The Goethe-Institut Singapore and most recently the role of Squash Bernstein in Zebra Crossing's production of the musical Victor / Victoria. 
Recent film credits include, Turning Ten featured at the ‘Annual Advertising Festival’; Thailand, Swimming Instructor, Independent film work with NYU Tisch and Hokkaido Hotballs featured at the Chicago International Film Festival and the Short Film Corner at Cannes.

PRAVIN SAIVI


Pravin made his professional singing debut when he finished second in the national Indian talentime in 2002 and later in that year, he was offered the part of Ashwin Lingam, a polytechnic student in the channel five series 'Light Years'. When serving his national service with the SAF Music and Drama Company, Pravin performed in over 200 stage shows and productions. By the age of 19, he had gained a reasonable amount of experience and was nominated in the 'Best Male Singer Award' category in the 2004, 2005 & 2007 Predana Awards.
In 2005, he chose to take a step out of the limelight from Singer/Entertainer, to play keyboards in ‘Vasantham Star 2005’, the Indian equivalent to ‘Singapore Idol’ and for many variety shows on Vasantham Central including the hugely successful show, ‘Planet Galatta’ in which his debut composition, ‘Muzhu Nilave’ was featured, becoming part of the ‘Planet Galatta’ audio album as well. He did two songs for the local Tamil movie, ‘Vaazhkai’ and also had the honour of being one of the resident judges for local children’s talentime ‘Yaar Antha Star’.
In 2006, Pravin joined Asia renowned world music band Tribal Tide and performed for several local arts festivals with them. In 2008, he performed at two significant events. One was for fellow Singaporeans living abroad celerating ‘Singapore Day’ in Melbourne for a mammoth crowd of 10,000 and the other, Health Promotion Board’s Launch of the years National Healthy Lifestyle Campaign at the Padang.

ZACHARY GOH


Zachary made his stage debut at the age of 19 in Guys & Dolls, the very first musical by Toy Factory Productions Ltd in 1999. The following year saw him playing the role of “Bobby” in the Mandarin musical, I Have a Date with Spring. A visual communications graduate from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Zachary completed his national service with the SAF Music and Drama Company. He was trained in singing, dancing and acting under artistic manager Zaini Mohd Tahir.

Zachary have since performed in Spring Singing, Army Daze, Cabaret - The Musical, The Nutcracker, Dim Sum Dollies® in The History of Singapore, Kumar The Queen, Beauty World - The Musical and most recently Shanghai Blues - The Musical for Esplanade's Huayi Festival. Superhero Diaries marks his seventh successful production with Toy Factory.

FARHAN HASSAN


Farhan Hassan burst into the music scene in 1995 when he made his way to become a semi-finalist in TCS Fame Awards when he was only 15 years old. He made another attempt in 2001 by contesting in the revived version of Talentime and became a finalist. Other than singing, his other love is dancing and it grew even more when he got professional training in his stint in SAF Music & Drama Company in 1999.

Using his two loves, he performed in many exciting events, locally and overseas. Not one to be just in the limelight, he moved himself to behind the scenes and using his wealth of experience in dance, he is now an accomplished choreographer and he has choreographed numerous events and prepared schools for SYF, Chingay & NDP 08.

Most recently seen on television in Suria channel dramas, he has proven his versatility in moving from stage to reel. His theatre credits include Army Daze (Toy Factory) , Forbidden City (SRT) , Kumar The Queen (Dream Academy), Beauty World (W!ld Rice), The Swordfish, then the concubine (W!ld Rice), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (W!ld Rice), Sleepless Town ( Toy Factory), Peranakan Ball ( Toy Factory) and Beauty and the beast (W!ld Rice).

Julie returned to Singapore after graduating from The Victorian College of the Arts Drama School (VCA) in Melbourne. Julie's most recent productions have been SRT'sMuch Ado About Nothing and Southern Star Production's Chatroom Chicks / A Gurl's World, playing the dance teacher in the Australian series. She began acting on TV at the age of fourteen in the Adventure Club, moving on to@ Moulmein High, Light Years and most recently, an episode of the long running Australian soap, Neighbours.

On the Singapore stage, Julie has performed in Ensemble Theatre’s Two and Answers from the Centre of the Universe About Things Unknown,Bud's Theatre's The Importance of Being Earnest, SRT Little Company’s The Tooth Fairy andThe Write Stuff, and Wild Rice’s musical Cindere-LAH!,

Julie’s acting credits at the VCA include Celia from Shakespeare’s As You Like It, Irina in Chekov’s Three Sisters, Lily in a weird and wonderful production of Caryl Churchill’s The Skriker, Natasha from Gorky’s The Lower Depthsand ‘The Professor ‘(a rough and tumble gangster) in the Brecht and Weil musical Happy End. Julie is also a Voice Over artist and has voiced Cannon, Kotex and Greenpan ads as well as HPB fish animations, intense fight sequences for Bajaj Motorcycles and characters in the game GrenadoEspada.

To Kill a Mockingbird is Abel's first professional theatre production. He first started dabbling in drama in Xinmin Secondary School where he was involved in Kuo Pao Kun's Lao Jiu which was directed by Nora Crothers while concurrently in the school choir for 4 years. He has graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a diploma in Mass Communication and took acting as one of his final year modules under the guidance of Kim Campbell.
Abel entered the army and managed to join the Music and Drama Company, where he has fueled his passion for acting, singing and dancing. While in the Music and Drama company, Abel had the opportunity to be part of a musical, that was in conjuction with the Total Defence Campaign, titled Five Pillars, One Roof which was written and directed by Jonathan Lim. All throughout his 2 years at the Music and Drama company, Abel also undertook small acting projects, one of which was a skit that was written by Mr Miyagi that was meant to provide tertiary students with insight on enlisting in National Service.

Rayann was born in Canada then immigrated to Australia as a child. She has just completed her BA Acting Hons at LASALLE College of the Arts here in Singapore. Whilst in Perth she had variety of professional, co-op and community acting roles. Including some Theatre in Education, corporate role-play training and theatrical productions. In 2002 she wrote a stage adaptation of the film Dead Poets Society, which she then directed. In 2004 she received a Robert Finley Award for Best other than Lead female for her performance as Pattie in Dennis Potter's Brimstone and Treacle at KADS theatre. The part (a mentally disabled girl) presented such a huge physical and vocal challenge. Whilst at LASALLE she appeared in Clark in Sarajevo directed by Steven Rassios (2008), Whale Music directed by Edith Podesta (2008), The Good Person of Sichuan directed by Chris Hurrell (2007), Oh! What a Lovely War directed by Edith Podesta (2007), Macbeth, directed by Terrence Crawford (2007), Once There Was, Once There Was Not, directed by Bert van Dijk (2006), Steel Magnolias, directed by Samantha Scott-Blackhall (2006), The Duck Variations, directed by Leith Taylor (2006), The Tin Can People directed by James Kable (2006), Blood Wedding directed by Leith Taylor (2005). She has become increasingly interested in directing whilst at college and has directed or contributed direction to a number of scenes and other projects. She hopes to pursue a post graduate course in this area. Later this year she will appear as the Wicked Witch of the West in a stage production of the Wizard of Oz.

Corinne graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor Degree in Arts (Drama) in 1999. She has been involved in acting and behind-the-scene works for numerous stage and television productions.

She has acted in Toy Factory's I Have A Date With Spring, Titoudao, Mad Phoenix, directed for Toy's A Doll's House, Land of Joy and acted in Mediacorp's TV productions.

She has also directed Luwei Performing Arts' Who? & Rain of Love . She teaches drama and is currently a freelance theatre practitioner.

FARIZ ORD from SAF MUSIC AND DRAMA COMPANY with EXCELLENTS as a artist under Zaini Tahir, where i learn to sing, act, dance and choreograph . Now I’m doing freelance dancing and shows and as well working under St James Power Station as a Choreographer.
Theater achivement: DIM SUM DOLLIES,THE HISTORY OF SINGAPORE(PLUS THE RE-RUN THE NEXT YEAR) 2007 n 2008, KUMAR THE QUEEN 2007, MAGIC BOX2008, SHOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS 2008 AND IMPAK MAKSIMA 2009 WHICH WE COLLOBRATE WITH THE MALAYSIAN ACTORS AND DANCERS.
