2 DECADES OF CREATIVE THEATRE

Indeed it has been 20 years!   This year, Toy Factory Productions Ltd (Toy) will celebrate 20 years as one of Singapore ’s leading bilingual theatre companies in Singapore .  To pay homage to its journey from a puppetry company to an award winning made-in-Singapore theatre company, Toy has lined up a year long series of exciting programmes and a mini-theatre festival in August 2010 at The Esplanade.

Toy will not only commemorate its inception as a provocative and intelligent emblem of the performing arts this year, it also aims to forage into unchartered waters to reach out to a more diverse audience with a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary programme.

Toy’s milestones and achievements have been a telling tribute to its efforts to push boundaries in the theatre scene in Singapore through unleashing to audiences performances that not only serve to provoke, entertain but also to educate.  In recent years, Toy Factory has garnered innumerable LIFE THEATRE AWARDS, a fitting testimony and affirmation of Toy Factory Production’s creative endeavours.

Helmed by two of Singapore ’s most prolific artistic directors, Toy needs the continued support in these pressing times where the economy is struggling to lift itself out of the doldrums.  As the official corporate sponsor of Toy Factory Productions, our audiences will recognize your generous acknowledgment that the arts in Singapore serve not as a backdrop but in the forefront of your company’s consciousness.

As Toy is celebrating its 20^th Year Anniversary, your company’s support will enjoy prominent visibility in all publicity material for our 20^th Anniversary year long line-up of programmes.  All contributions made to Toy Factory Productions Ltd are eligible for double tax exemption through our charity’s account with the National Arts Council.  Toy Factory would also nominate you, our corporate sponsor for the annual Patron of the Arts Award organized by the National Arts Council to acknowledge the sponsor` s significant contribution towards the arts.
